Symptoms of Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), also known as acute myelogenous leukemia (AL), is a grave blood cancer that affects the bone marrow. With AML, the bone marrow produces abnormal myeloid cells. These abnormal cells multiply rapidly, crowding out normal blood cells. This can lead to a variety of severe symptoms, which may differ from person to person.
